Rcon Pacific can obtain the base information to found confident decisions on. For resilience building identifying natural hazards and the extent they impact your development, city or business is the best place to start. When we don’t have the data we can help engage specialists or carry out the research ourselves. Hazards such as flooding, liquefaction or storm surge trouble our coastal environments and all are made worse by sea level rise.

GIS mapping

Quantifying hazard exposure and risk spatially can be carried out and the results presented visually for better decision making and community education. Multi-hazard mapping is one of our current research themes.​

Exploring solutions to strengthen or remove infrastructure threatened by natural hazards is the usual response. Options and solutions can be investigated, designed and costed by Rcon Pacific.
